Background


Scottish Enterprise Grampian (SEG) is part of Scottish Enterprise network which act as the agency responsible for the economic well-being and development on behalf of the Scottish Government is responsible for the development and nurturing of new businesses in the north east of the country.

In this regard SEG operates a number of business and science parks with a mix of multi and single occupancy business centres designed to attract and develop new entrepreneurial companies.

These centres offer small to medium organisations centralised services and support providing a ‘one stop shop’ for all of their non core business activities.

Objectives


  • Assist SEG in the provision of non core business activities to a diverse number and types of businesses.
  • Establish, develop and manage the support service offering to meet all tenant needs.
  • Proactively manage tenant communication and operational liaison.
  • Measure customer satisfaction with services provided.
  • Provide statistical data regarding support services activities to assist tenant management.
  • Provide service delivery standards to meet tenant Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide procurement and business advice for tenant companies.
  • Provide temporary and interim staff as required.

Outcomes


  • Contract has been retained by Key Facilities Management for 11 years having been re-tendered 3 times, client testament to high quality service delivery.
  • Tenant occupation has remained constant despite oil & gas industry economic cycles.
  • Service Level Agreements developed have since been incorporated into landlord services contract.
  • High level of tenant satisfaction proven by independent survey.
  • On site management team co-ordinate and manage other client contractors.
  • Despite constant change as companies outgrow the business park environment and move on to larger premises, service levels maintained as a constant.
  • Our unique ‘Total Support Service’ methodology applied and adopted that reflects the need for varying resources at varying times in business lifecycles.
