First ever ‘Overall FM Industry Impact’ award was presented by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM), in front of more than 1,000 guests and colleagues, at the Grosvenor Hotel in London to Stan Mitchell CEO of Key Facilities Management International. The citation reads:
"Stan is well known as an influential figure in the development of the facilities management profession. |
As BIFM Chairman from 2002 to 2004, he played a key role in the restructuring of the Institute during a period of rapid growth and change.
Stan was also a prime mover in the creation of the ‘International Association of FM Associations’ - Global FM and became its first chairman.
Whether chairing Scotland Region, leading the development of European FM standards, promoting FM in the Middle East and Asia or simply networking, |
